The Warnell Forest Explorers Camp offers young learners an engaging introduction to Georgia’s forests and the natural resources that shape our state. Designed for rising 1st–3rd graders, this half day program provides a supportive environment where children can explore the outdoors, build foundational knowledge, and develop confidence through hands on learning. Throughout the week, campers will investigate key topics in forestry, wildlife, and natural resources, with a special emphasis on understanding the plants, animals, and ecosystems found in Georgia’s forests. Activities are developmentally appropriate and blend scientific discovery with opportunities for creativity, teamwork, and outdoor skill building.
